SANT JAUME'S CHURCH - This
building headlines and prints its mark to all the village, emphasized by the
proportions and the austerity of the neoclassic style. The
church has a latin cross ground plan and the crossing is covered with a dome.
The façane counts with neoclassic elements, specially at the main door
decoration. At the left side of the façane the bell tower of crossed floor developers
in two octagonal overlapping towers. On the back side of the church
some of the ancient Romanesque building elements have been preserved, which
first written new dates from the 29th November 1194.
HIKING TO MIRAMAR - The
village is placed under the shelter of the Miramar mountain range, with the look
glanced briefly at the sea. Behind the village we can go to the Miramar
addition. An excursion through the forest will let us arrive to this village
where we can enjoy of an exceptional view, surrounded by forests and nature

arrive to the Font del Viudet (Viudet fountain), where we will find an

When we find the first intersection, we will follow the
left path. We will reach the main track that will lead us to Miramar. After a
strong turn with an ascent towards the right, we will leave the left way which
looks like going straight on to Miramar but we will follow the other one. At the
next intersection we will take the left way that goes down, and we will get into
the forest that will lead us again to Miramar. The right way follows the neck
that arrives to Prenafeta.
After the last climb we will pass next to the Miramar
cemetery and then to the village. When we arrive up there we will find this way
was worthwhile. The Romanesque church we shall see is dedicated to Saint Mateu.
Making use of our location we can arrive to the
fountain under the way that leads to the antenna. We way admire the sight over
the Camp de Tarragona and the sea, where even in bright days we can see the
boats that are waiting to come into the Tarragona's port.
Finished our journey, we can follow the main way from
Miramar that goes to the Coll de Lilla.
